Food was good but could have used a little more seasoning!! Give you plenty of mussels & a dozen of clams!!! Servers were well organized & friendly!!! Plenty of propane heaters & had an outside fire with chairs!! Very nice place!!! Parking is tight!!! Would definitely recommend clam bake & also enjoy the restaurant!!!
Alex was our server. He made us feel so welcome, had a lot of great food suggestions and bourbon suggestions. The food was fresh and thoughtfully prepared.

Food was great, service was great, love the indoor & outdoor spaces. I had the trio for lunch which included a small cup of soup, small salad and half of a wrap or sandwich. All food was fresh and delicious

Lovely, quaint, cozy, historic inn. Great food; never had a bad meal in all the times we've been there. Attentive, friendly, helpful staff. Can't wait to go again!
Some colleagues and myself went here for dinner the other day. They know that I enjoy a good local establishment, and Welshfield inn was the place. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, I got excited with the ambience of the outside parents of the restaurant. And then again, walking in seeing the stone fireplace with the expose beams, made for a really nice feel and warm. Welcome environment. the waitress was friendly and helpful. All of us enjoyed meals from grilled chicken salad, burger, and myself with an omelette for lunch. I love a good old-fashioned omelette with spinach tomatoes, etc. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the price is very reasonable. They also bring out fresh cinnamon rolls, and buns to the table. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area.
I'm writing this review for my mother but she decided to come here after work - she's in town to open a new canes restaurant in the area. Wednesday evening for the prime rib special . The ambiance is great, the service is top notch ! The prime rib was filling and you could tell the size they said it was . It came with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts - normally she's not a fan of Brussels sprouts but she said these are delicious! She also got french onion soup - some of the best she's ever had . Highly recommend in fact I'm jealous I didn't get to try it.
